In the previous episode, we saw that every life follows a journey.
From Gaia,
to Mars,
to Saturn,
and eventually โ to the unknown.
But not everyone completes that journey.
Some people never leave Gaia.
The place where love was supposed to begin.
When that love is missing in childhood, something inside us stays waiting.
The body grows.
Life moves forward.
A family.
A home.
Responsibilities.
But emotionally, a part of us is still searching for the affection we never received.
And when that happens, the adult life we build is often guided by the needs of the child within.
This is what we see in Tom.
He protects the farm.
The place where his father and grandfather once lived.
The last symbol of the home he lost.
But while protecting the past, he stops protecting the people who depend on him in the present.
When Murph burns the cornfield, she doesnโt just destroy the crop.
She destroys the illusion that staying in the same place can bring the past back.
Because eventually, life asks all of us the same question:
Who is making your decisions?
The adult youโve become โ or the child still waiting for the love that never came?
