Many people think their life is built on decisions.
It’s not.
It’s built on ideas.
Ideas you never questioned.
Ideas you absorbed without noticing.
Ideas that slowly became the way you see yourself.
“I’m not enough.”
“I have to prove myself.”
“This is just who I am.”
At first, they feel like thoughts.
Then they become beliefs.
And eventually —
they become identity.
That’s the dangerous part.
Because once an idea becomes identity,
you stop seeing it.
You don’t question it.
You don’t examine it.
You live from it.
And from there,
everything organizes itself around it:
your choices
your relationships
your limits
your reality
Not because it’s true.
Because you never stopped to look at it.
And here’s the part most people avoid:
You don’t need someone to implant the idea.
Most of them were already planted.
Family.
School.
Past experiences.
Moments you didn’t fully process.
They stayed.
And they kept growing.
So the question is not
whether you have them.
You do.
The question is:
Which idea is currently running your life…
and what is it costing you to keep it?
