Many people don’t feel out of control.
They feel organized.
Clear.
Structured.
Prepared.
And that gives a sense of safety.
Because when everything is planned…
nothing should go wrong.
But life doesn’t work like that.
Things shift.
People change.
Situations break what you expected.
And in that moment—
structure is no longer enough.
That’s where the problem shows up.
Not in the plan.
In the dependence on it.
Because when you rely too much on structure…
you stop developing something else:
the ability to adapt.
To respond in real time.
To move without certainty.
To stay present when things don’t make sense.
So when the plan breaks—
you don’t adjust.
You freeze.
Not because you’re incapable.
Because you were never trained
to move without it.
So the question is not how organized you are.
It’s this:
When things stop going according to plan…
can you still move—
or do you need everything
to make sense first?
